We were honored to shoot a video and photo documentary for the Wasichana Wote Wasome Programme, part of the UK government-funded Girls Education Challenge in the most remote areas of Kenya (Marsabit, Turkana, Kwale, Kilifi, Lodwar, Kalacha, Chalbi Desert, Lokori and Lokichar) as well as in the urban slums in Nairobi and Mombasa.
This documentary was part of the close out for the Wasichana Wote Wasome programme as it gets to be revamped as Wasichana Wetu Wasome, which has increased directives to follow up on girls’ secondary education as an added mandate on the WWW programme.
